This page covers the Dawnlings website and waitlist. The clock and the parent app will have their own notice before they ship. Last updated 29 October 2026.
Who we are
Dawnlings is made by Weftworks Ltd, the data controller: registered in England and Wales, company number 17439248, registered office 2 Ravenscroft Gardens, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 7JU; ICO registration ZC241086. Email hello@dawnlings.com.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
- Your email address, and the time you ticked the consent box.
- Your IP address and browser type at that moment, kept only as proof that it was you who signed up.
- Where you came from, if the link told us (for example, which advert), so we know which message parents respond to.
- Once you confirm, a record that you joined the Dawnlings waitlist goes into our customer registry, so that if you later buy a clock or ask for help, we can tell it's you.
We don't ask for your name, your child's name or age, or anything about your home.
What we do with it
We send one email asking you to confirm. After that we send Dawnlings updates: progress on the way to launch, when founding pre-orders open, and later news about the product such as new characters and story packs. We aim for a few a month at most, never daily. We don't track whether you open or click our emails, and we don't share or sell the list.
Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us.
How long we keep it
- If you don't confirm within 30 days, the address is deleted automatically.
- If you unsubscribe, we keep a record that you did so we don't email you again, and nothing else.
- Otherwise we keep your address for as long as we send Dawnlings updates. If we stop, we delete the list.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the list (data may be processed in the EU and the US under Cloudflare's standard terms).
- Maileroo sends the confirmation email.
- Listmonk and Twenty, mailing and customer-registry software we run ourselves on Weftworks servers, send the updates and hold the registry record.
Cloudflare's Turnstile check runs on the sign-up form to keep bots out; it doesn't use cookies to track you across sites.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising pixels. If we use analytics it will be Cloudflare's privacy-preserving kind, which doesn't identify you.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@dawnlings.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
